What's in the Activity Bag?

Bags are themed around Nature, Craft or Science and include a variety of resources for activities children will be able to do at home for their very own Playscheme.

There will be a few different activities in your bag based around your chosen theme. Some of the key or specialist pieces of equipment will come in the bag, and you might need a few more things you are likely to already have at home.

What's the Trail Week?

Trail Week is a week long event where you will follow a map (sent to you after application) with riddles or clues to locations around the village.

At each location there will be a single letter (ie A, B, C).

You’ll have the whole week to find all ten letters which you will need to unscramble to make the password and use on Portable Playscheme day to collect your activity bag.

Please bring a parent or guardian with you when on the trail looking for clues!

What's Portable Playscheme Day?

Potable Playscheme Day will be held at the Village Green on Saturday 8th August 2020.

We will have a team of Leaders at the Green to tick you off our list, get your unscrambled password and help you collect your activity bag!

Please bring a parent or guardian with you to Portable Playscheme day.

Why are there no instructions in my Activity Bag?

All instructions for activity bags will be available back here on our website from Saturday 8th August.

This minimises contamination and enables us to be mindful of the environment (trying not to print out hundreds of paper instructions to include in every bag)

It also means you’ll be able to see all the activities; so if you fancy trying some that aren’t in your Activity Bag – you can!

We will also have some ‘store cupboard’ activities which you may already have all the equipment at home.
